Admiral Cocktail

Ingredients

30ml

Whisky Rye

45ml

Vermouth Dry

15ml

Lemon Juice

100ml

Ice

Lemon Peel

20% Alcohol By Volume

40 Proof

1.4 Standard Drinks

Method - Shaken - Cold

Add half the ice to shaker.
Add all ingredients to shaker.
Shake the hell out of it.
Pour all into glass.
Fill glass with ice.
Garnish with lemon twist.
Invigorating

200ml, 7oz, 20cl

Whisky Rye rye whisky made using rye and aged for years in oak and first fill casks this is our truly grain to the glass rye whisky.

Vermouth Dry dry vermouth is high quality white wine and essences of herbs and spices and looks clear. dry vermouth is an aromatized fortified wine flavored also called french vermouth.

Lemon Juice juice of the lemon is about 5 to 6 percent citric acid with a ph of around 2.2 giving it a sour taste.

Ice ice is water frozen into a solid state and can come in wet ice cubes and dry ice cubes and is used to chill cold and lightly delute cocktails to make them smoother.

Lemon Peel the skin or zest of a lemon.

Admiral is invigorating quite strong cocktail at 1.4 standard drinks. Shaken with 30ml whisky rye and 45ml vermouth dry with 15ml lemon juice as well as 100ml ice and best at tea time. Just add half the ice to shaker then add all ingredients to shaker and shake the hell out of it. Pour all into glass and fill glass with ice and garnish with lemon twist and served in a old fashioned glass cold.
