Method
  1. Use cold glass and shaker.
  2. Add all ingredients to shaker, less champagne.
  3. Dry shake without ice.
  4. Pour all into flute glass.
  5. Pour in champagne.

French 69 is moreish strong cocktail at 1.4 standard drinks. Stirred with 50ml champagne veuve clicquot and 15ml pernod with 15ml gin dry burnetts as well as 10ml sugar syrup including 10ml lemon juice and good with afternoon tea. Just use cold glass and shaker then add all ingredients to shaker, less champagne and dry shake without ice. Pour all into flute glass and pour in champagne and served in a flute glass cold.
